Editing Tags

Because environments and application needs are dynamic, tags enable planned and unplanned changes to accommodate changing requirements while optimizing resource utilization. Editing tags allows you to deploy quick changes in your environment and applications. Edit tags using the Service Level Definitions page.

To edit tags:

  1. In the main menu, click Service Level Definitions. This page contains all tags and tag categories used throughout the system.
  2. On the Service Level Definitions page,enter the service level definition name in the Searchfield at the top of the page and click or press Enter; or click a tag category or tag list entry to select it. Once selected, the Service Level Definition list entry is highlighted, and the option buttons display at the right.
  3. In the option buttons, click to open the Edit Tag panel.
  4. Edit any of the following fields:
  5. Click Save.

Note: You can change the Instance tag and show that it migrates from one location to the other; thus changing its availability. This specifically migrates an instance from a KVM to a KVM running on commodity.
