Managing Service Level Definitions

Manage service level definitions using the Service Level Definitions page.

To manage service level definitions:

  1. In the main menu, click Service Level Definitions.
  2. On the Service Level Definitions page, locate the service level definition by typing all or part of the service level definition name in the Quick Search field at the top of the page and click or press Enter, or click a service level definition list entry to select it. Once selected, the service level definition list entry is highlighted, and the option buttons display at the right.
  3. To access the subcategories, click located at the left of the service level name.
  4. A slider control is located at the left of each service level definition name. To show a hidden category (category shows as gray; slider set to 0), click the slider button and move it to the right. The category display color changes to blue, and the slider setting shows as |.
  5. To hide a category (category displays as blue; slider set to |), click the slider button and move it to the left. The category display color changes to gray, and the slider setting shows as 0.
  6. After making changes, the Confirm changes dialog displays at the bottom of the page. Click Confirm to save changes; click Reset to discard changes.
Note: Any changes made to a service level definition also affect its subcategories. In other words, the changes made to the top level are automatically propagated through all levels below it that are connected to the service level definition. Subcategories connected to parent service level definitions which are set to show can independently be set to show or hide. However, subcategories set to hide cannot be set to show unless its parent-level service level definition is set to show.
