Editing Service Level Definitions
Edit service level definitions using the Service Level Definitions page. You can edit both top-level and sub-level service level definitions. Both options are described as follows.
To edit top-level service level definitions:
- In the main menu, click Service Level Definitions to display the Service Level Definitions page.
- On the Service Level Definitions page, locate the service level definition to be edited by typing all or part of its name in the Quick Search field at the top of the page and clicking or pressing Enter; or click a service level definition list entry to select it. Once selected, the service level definition list entry is highlighted, and the option buttons display at the right.

In the option buttons, click to open the Edit Category panel. Edit any of the following fields:
- Name: Service level definition name. This name displays in the list view on the Service Level Definitions page.
- Standard Name: This is the name propagated on the back end.
- Service Category Question: Type a question to display in the Deployed Applications / Select a Deployment Package filters column.
- Description: An optional text field describing the service level definition.
- Tags in this category can be multi-assigned. Select this option to allow tags to be assigned to multiple service level definitions.
- Click Save.
To edit sub-level service level definitions:
- In the main menu, click Service Level Definitions to display the Service Level Definitions page.
- On the Service Level Definitions page, locate the service level definition to be edited by typing all or part of its name in the Quick Search field at the top of the page and clicking or pressing Enter; or click a service level definition list entry to select it. Once selected, the service level definition list entry is highlighted, and the option buttons display at the right.
- To expand a service level definition to show all its connected subcategories, click located between the Show/Hide indicator button and the service level definition name.
- Once the service level definition view expands, click a sub-level service level definition list entry to select it. Once selected, the service level definition list entry is highlighted, and the option buttons display at the right.

In the option buttons, click to open the Edit Tag panel. Edit any of the following fields:
- Name: Service Level Definition name. This name displays in the list view on the Service Level Definitions page.
- Standard Name: This is the name propagated on the back end.
- Nest Tag Under: Click the drop-down box and select the category under which the edited tag appears.
- Description: An optional text field describing the service level definition.
- Click Save.
