Setting up the Infrastructure to Deliver Availability

In the Version 1 release, the Stratus Orchestrator ensures a one-to-one mapping of availability tags to hypervisor associations with those matching tags.

For fault tolerance, we can only guarantee Quality of Service (QoS) on hypervisors that are running Stratus hardware or software; for example, everRun or ftServer.

Stratus recommends that you do an approximation of the initial deployment sizes to estimate the overall required resources for hosting your initial applications, keeping in mind that more can be added at a later date. It is further recommended that you also perform a quick analysis of the approximate size and space required for your fault-tolerant hypervisors.
