Appendix B: Service Catalog Application Categories

Use this format to map out your application categories; note that the populated fields in the following table are merely examples. Application Category is a Stratus-defined category. It is a required category describing the applications and groupings in the Service Catalog. Each application can have multiple tags; they display in the search if an assigned tag is selected. This is the basis for the Service Catalog left-hand navigation; as well as an enabler of search on applications throughout Stratus Cloud Workload Services user interface.
