Deployed Applications: Instances Overview

Instances are the virtual machines running within a cloud and assigned to a deployed application. The Deployed Applications: Instances page allows you to view and manage all instances deployed as part of the Stratus infrastructure (those that are part of deployed applications); as well as instances that exist in OpenStack that are not part of a Stratus application.

An instance is an instantiated image defined in the deployment package. The instance is automatically created when the application is deployed.

Note: Unmanaged instances can only be managed through OpenStack.

Using the Group by options on the Deployed Applications: Instances page, instances can be sorted by:

Click at the left of each listing to expand the view, showing instance grouping, tags, details, resources, and current status of the instance. The current utilized resources compared to the total available physical resources display in percentages.

In the expandable Group by options, expand the grouping by clicking at the left of each listing.
